The programs of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority are administered locally by chapters in cities throughout the nation and parts of the world. Each chapter is a part of a regional organization. The South Central Region, to which Alpha Kappa Omega belongs, is made up of chapters from Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and New Mexico.
